  • An example URL would help.  Also keep in mind that audio-only and video-only files aren't supported as per https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/randomnumber/2017/06/21/azure-media-player-support-for-audio-only-and-video-only-streams/

  • quisiera mandarte la imagen del error que reproduce o uno de los videos que no muestra, pero no puedo adjuntarlo por este medio, podria mandartelo por otro medio?

  • The image of the error isn't that important.  What is important is an example URL that shows this problem.

  • The problem is that Azure Media Player does not support AVI files.  You'll want to convert the video to a MP4 before publishing it.

  • The file name in the URL is "a83063c9-d51b-431d-8102-f5e2948ac203 (1).avi".  The fact that the file extension is .avi tells me that it is not supported in Azure Media Player.

If you are accepting any customer video, then it would be a good idea to encode all customer content using the Media Encoder Standard so that the output is a more standard format.  This also allows you to convert the customer content into a streamable format so that you can stream HLS, MPEG-DASH, and Smooth Streaming.  More info is at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/media-services/media-services-portal-vod-get-started and https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/learning-paths/media-services-streaming-on-demand/

  • The link you mentioned is the list of formats that work with the encoder, Media Encoder Standard. In other words, this is for input formats to the encoder.  When the encoder converts the .avi file it will output a MP4 (or MP4 set of files). It is the MP4 output of the encoder that works with Azure Media Player.
