Compare Previous & Current Hopping Windows

Question

Hello,

I have a real-time stream of point events and would like to compare the count of events in the current hopping window of 1 minute to that of the previous 1 minute hopping window.

I don't understand which method or what would be most efficient way to shift time in order to calculate offset time window.

eg - previous window had 1000 events, new window has 1500 events, create a query showing event delta between current count and previous count.

Hey Albert,

I did find this and other articles but couldn't make anything work, was hoping someone may have had an example of something they'd implemented as part of a trend analysis. Will read deeper to see what I may have missed.
