    Hi Arshad

You can download and run the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Uninstall Utility to uninstall Visual Studio. By default, this removes Visual Studio and supporting components, but does not remove components that are shared with other applications on the computer.

You can also uninstall Visual Studio 2010 manually,

1.In the Control Panel, open the utility for uninstalling a program, for example, in Windows 7, open Uninstall a program.

2.Remove all instances of Visual Studio 2010 products.

3.Uninstall any supporting products, in the link below. In non-English installations, you must also remove language packs for some of the listed products. You do not have to reboot until after you have removed the last package on the list.

At the same time you can follow the procedures to install Visual Studio 2010 again,

    # Installing Visual Studio

    With regards

    Hi Arshad,

In your %temp% folder, there should be a file called MVCVS2010Templates.log, or something similar.

It contains the result of running devenv /setup and will show whether VS decided to remove packages or encountered problems when registering project/item templates. This files are created during install.

If a re-install of VS still has this problem, then there's probably a bigger problem with the machine.

You could try running devenv /resetskippkgs and see if that makes things better. It almost looks like VS disabled everything.

or else follow the thread below for complete discussion of above solution.

Hope this should get things sorted out.

    What do you mean blank?

Each version of Visual Studio has separate folder for project files in my documents
