SharePoint Ribbon Tabs not Loading RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have moved a SharePoint 2010 Content Database from one location to another. For some reasons in the new location clicking on "Page" doesn't load the SharePoint Ribbon tabs like "Edit, Check Out, Edit Properties Rename Page etc" it is just stacked in loading spinning. Also some web parts load correctly others are just spinning silver light on that same Home page. Any help will be appreciated to fix this issue.

  • Hi Ebenezer,

Did this issue occur with all the pages?

Was there any error loading the JS files?

    Best regards.

    Thanks

  • Hi Ebenezer,

I recommend to verify the things below:

    1. Disable the Loop back Check and then compare the results.

    2. Enable “Allow DNS Suffix Appending to Unqualified Multi-Label Name Queries” in DNS Client.

Open Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > DNS Client.

    3. Check the permissions of the application pool account to the folder located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS.

    4. Use F12 develop tool to check if there are any errors loading the js files.

You can refer to the link below for detailed steps:
