WSDL Web References gives error for a WSDL file RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to add a reference to my VB.net project. For a third party webservice   API . They had given me the following 3 files url s

    1. https://xxxxxx.com/yyyyy/mainAPI.wsdl
    2. https://xxxxxx.com/yyyyy/ xsd/MsgElements.xsd
    3. https://xxxxxx.com/yyyyy/xsd/ElementsTypes.xsd
    4. I try to make a webreffrence using the the first url(https://xxxxxx.com/yyyyy/mainAPI.wsdl) but it was giving me error.

    Please advise me how can I add a reference to my VB.net project and start my integration

    Right mouse click your project, click on "Add Service Reference", click on "Advanced", click on "Add Web Reference". Now enter your URL in the box provided then click the button to the right. If it connects successfully to the site, finish by entering a name for this reference in "Web Reference Name" text box.
