FIle adapter is not promoting receivedfilename property RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I got this issue from yesterday. Suddenly, File adpater is no more promoting the ReceivedFilename property. All the deployed orchestration that uses this property started throwing errors. I then treid it on the test. Same issue.
Cannot make out what's going wrong?

    Thanks for any HELP.

Answers

  • You can use Message(FILE.ReceivedFileName) expression to access the property from orchestration

  • Hi Shady,

Is it possible the pipeline is passthrough by any chance, because that does not promote properties on messages. Also I think you have put this question in the wrong forum; it shoud be BizTalk General. It is not a BizTalk Adapter Pack problem you have.

  • Hey,

File adapter doesn't promote the ReceiveFileName property it just adds it to the context as a non promoted property.

    Thanks,
