  • Hi haidereng,

Please clarify your project type and programming language. This is not a develop forum.

Or if you just want your exe to be run.

    Check something below:

    1. About exe run at Windows Start Up, you can use msconfig->Startup and add your app there.

    2. About exe run when shutdown, that is depends. I don't know such a way except for programming yourself.

    1. How to run a exe in windows startup:

There are a few ways but one of the easiest is to but a shortcut to the application in the startup folder of the start menu.

Place as shortcut to the program in the windows start up file.

    Win9x/98/Me - C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
    WinNT/2K - C:\Winnt\Profiles\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp
    WinXP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

You can also add a key to the registry under
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run
