I want to transfer my web app to Virtual Machine Without any downtime.

Question

I have One Website A with a.azurewebsites.net

I want to transfer this to Virtual Machine B with Host Name : b.cloudapp.net

So, that Whenever I surf a.azurewebsite.net it should serve website from b.cloudapp.net.

I tried a lot using custom domains but never got solution.

Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.

The host names *.azurewebsite.net are reserved for Azure Web Apps, so you cannot redirect them to something else.

In most cases, real sites running on Azure Web Apps use a custom host name rather than the default *.azurewebsite.net host name, and those custom host names can of course be changed to point to anything.
