  • I would like to ask is there any possible hidden issues if Biztalk Server 2013 R2 are going to migrate on new data center? In result changes IP address of server. Does there is something where Biztalk server use server IP address?

  • Unless someone used an IP address when running setup, no.  Nothing in BizTalk Server will change a name to and address.

    Log Shipping DR is based on changing many names/addresses and it's works just fine.

    Keep in mind, it's likely something will not go as hoped but it won't be a problem with you or BizTalk.

    If you can setup a new BizTalk instance at the new DC, that's a less risky option since you can run parallel or fallback if needed.

  • BizTalk itself doesn't care what IP address it uses, but systems it connects to might. If you are ftp'ing in to other systems or consuming web services, they may whitelist IP addresses in which case you need to notify them of the new IP address. 

    Down there somewhere, its just ones and zeros.
