Remove List Filter

I have a bit field in all my database tables that I use to control the status of a record. When using dynamic data web site it creates a filter for each table based on this field.

How do I remove it?

 wht u want to remove.. clearify it first.. whether u want to remove tht bit field from table.. or u just want to bypass it by using code.. wht u want ..

so tht i can understd yr problem more specifically..

Several options:

• If you use custom pages, you can remove the filter repeater, and instead just add the individual filters that you do want
• If you want to avoid custom pages, check out the Future App sample, which shows a way of turning off individual filters at the model level.

David's answers are spot on. This is an area that we are improving in the next release of Dynamic Data. We are adding mechanisms for determining if a column is displayed as a filter, what order the filters are in and a mechanism for creating your own filters. This will be released in .NET 4.0. We will be releasing an updated preview of this release tomorrow.
