I have a bit field in all my database tables that I use to control the status of a record. When using dynamic data web site it creates a filter for each table based on this field.
wht u want to remove.. clearify it first.. whether u want to remove tht bit field from table.. or u just want to bypass it by using code.. wht u want ..
so tht i can understd yr problem more specifically..
David's answers are spot on. This is an area that we are improving in the next release of Dynamic Data. We are adding mechanisms for determining if a column is displayed as a filter, what order the filters are in and a mechanism for creating your own filters.
This will be released in .NET 4.0. We will be releasing an updated preview of this release tomorrow.
