    A Ribbon must be defined in an Add-in or a document and cannot be altered by an object model. So there is no C# (or VB) that can "add standard button functions in Ribbon".

    You must define the Ribbon as Ribbon XML or in the Ribbon Designer.

  • 1. I don't understand the question. Could you elaborate a bit more, or give us an example, please?

    2. I don't know, you'd have to ask the software manufacturer (who probably isn't telling). I'd assume a custom task pane, but it could possibly be something else.

  • I found a solution on my first question.

    using ExecuteMso Method.

     thanks.

    Globals.ThisAddIn.Application.CommandBars.ExecuteMso("RemoveDuplicates");
