Providing multiple configurations? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello USB Experts:

In order to pass a DTM test "Isochronous alternate setting test", I need to inform the DTM that my USB filter driver supports muliplte configurations (one is so called default alternate settings zero with no endpoints; another config is with isochronous endpoint). How would I do it ? I assume that this has to be done in EvtPrepareHardware()?

    Thanks in advance.

  • It is looking for multiple alternate settings on the interface, not multiple configurations on the device.

  • your config descriptor needs to include these alt settings, nothing you can do in the driver can fake this out.  what does your config descriptor look like?
