  • Question

  • Hi to all

I need to identify when a mailitem has fired the inspector_activate event by way of the Forward method.  I know the mailitem has a forward event but I need to identify the "event" at the inspector_activate event/level.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Respectfully,

    Gordon Haas

  • Other than looking at the subject prefix ("FW"), there isn't much you can do.

  • Thanks for the response Dimitry.  I had thought of that one also (kind of fragile).  As it turns out I already had what I needed in place.  In the inspector_activate event I set a mailitem object which I use for the reply event.  I just simply had to use the same mailitem object to capture the forward event.  Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees!
