Use IHV.WFDTestTool.exe to test WiFi Direct connections RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am testing WiFi Direct functionalities by WDK tool "IHV.WFDTestTool.exe". This tool works great to initiate/accept sessions. However, I couldn't figure out how to make oslp/aoslp work and test other WiFi Direct functions.

Here is how I proceed the testing:

    PCA: >b 1
    PCB: >b 1
    PCA: >a 1 12345678 0 TESTNAME d:\profile_rec.xml
    PCB: >p AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA 12345678 0 TESTNAME d:\profile_req.xml

=> Result: WiFi Direct connection correctly built here...

    PCA: >cs BB:BB:BB:BB:BB:BB

=> Result: WiFi Direct connection is correctly broken here...

    PCA: >aoslp BB:BB:BB:BB:BB:BB
=> Result: It looks IHV.WFDTestTool.exe doesn't take this command, it shows the whole help instructions.

    PCB: >oslp AA:AA:AA:AA:AA:AA
=> Result: PCA pops below message:
         >09:34:43.7188942 Received reinvoke request event from Peer BB:BB:BB:BB:BB:BB
         >09:34:43.7309483 Ignoring connect request from peer.

I guess the reinvocation command has reached PCA, but somehow aoslp doesn't really tell the tool to accept the connection. Do I use oslp/aoslp in wrong way?

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Thanks.
