  • I will verify memory allocation made by our driver for our PCI-e board during boot. My suggestion is to use a simple script in host reseting target PC with our board installed and verify result in debugview. This test must be launch nitghly. How to do ?

    I'm newbie in DDK.

  • To seriously work in the DDK you need to have a real debugger.  For instance Windbg has a !pool command that along with using a unique memory tag in your driver will do this simply.   Over the years, I have encountered many bugs in drivers that were "debugged" using debugview, just having a log of print statements is not adequate to work in the kernel.
