Moving an MRDS Project to another Node RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am preparing a programming lab which involves programming with MRDS. For that purpose I created some sample services which shall be used and extended by the students. I now want to deploy the sample projects to different accounts, or different MRDS installation folders. Group A should not have access to the code base of group B. Just copying did not help very much. Too much manual adjustment of paths and stuff. The DssDeploy can afaik only deploy binaries to another node.

I would be very happy if anyone has some experience related to my problem.

    regards,

      Alex

  • After moving source code around you need to run DssProjectMigration on the code to fix up the paths.

DssDeploy is supposed to do this automatically. You can deploy using DssDeploy if you specify the source code explicitly as a "dependency".
