Delete data from TSI RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have setup a Iot Hub that feeds a pay-as-you-go TSI account.

Since the Iot hub is receiving messages from test devices i often get payloads that have mistakes in them, for instance I was trying to send the date as a milliseconds unix epoc, only to realize that TSI doesn't accept this format as a timestamp.

After correcting the issue, the devices started sending the date as a string.

However my model stop receiving events and even if I rebuild the event source it still doesn't receive the new data.

The only solution I know is to delete the TSI service and rebuild it from scratch tomorrow when the wrong telemetry expires on the Iot Hub.

Is there a way to delete the previous events registered in TSI?

This could turn in to a nightmare in a production scenario, if someone mistakenly sends incorrect data to TSI and it stops working and I lose all the previous data.

Am I seeing this correctly or is there a way to protect TSI from such events?
