Not receiving crash data RRS feed

  • We have a non-reproducable problem with application start up and users have been sending reports, but the dashboard says we don't have any crash data to show you.  Telemetry is enabled.  How do we get the data?

  • Hello Scott,

    You will only receive this information if your customers have opted in to share this data so if you are not seeing any reports this means that most likely none the customers experiencing these crashes have opted to participate in the Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP).

  • Multiple customers have indicated that they received a dialog box requesting to send information to Microsoft about the crash and that they accepted it.

  • Hello Scott,

    These are two different things. The CEIP runs automatically in the background and must be opted into the first time you install Windows.

    This article explains how to turn CEIP on or off at any time, you can send these instructions to your customers:
