Lookup columns and additional fields RRS feed

  • When adding the additional fields to a list/library I seem to only have the choice of the default fields (title, id, modified,created,version) and any text or number columns I have created. 

    Should I be able to get access to all the columns in my lookup list or is there a limitation?

    Here is what I am trying to do. I have a list which has project name (text), manager (person), status (lookup), isActive(yes/no).  I have a document library which I want to add the Project name as a lookup column and bring across the other data for grouping and filtering views.  Any ideas?

  • I wish someone would reply to this questions. I'm trying to do the samething.  It would be a very powerful option and become a true lookup.
