    Could anyone please post the default settings of SQL Server 2008 configuration manager?

  • I’ m not sure about your requirements. Do you want to connect to SQL Server from a .net application in a domain and determine proper SQL Server configure setting? If so, try the following settings:

    ·         Enable remote access

    ·         Enable Named Pipes and TCP/IP for the SQL Server instance.

    ·         If you used a named instance, make sure the SQL Serve Browser is running.

    ·         Add sqlbrower.exe and TCP port used by the SQL Server are in the Firewall exception list.
