Vb 2008 with Access Database -- Dataset changing on it's own - a couple queries changed to functions? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone - I'm a self-taught rookie here ...

I used the server explorer to make my data connections and datasets with the add new data source functions in vb 2008.  I've built an ap here for work that records qty good and qty bad for produced parts.  Long story short - I had setup 2 queries that gave feedback for first pass yield data for our finishing lines.  For some reason - I was in working on an update to my app, and received error messages.  The errors came when I went to the dataset wizrd to add a new query to my dataset.  my 2 original queries - now are gone - showing up in the "functions" list on the server explorer.... and 2 days ago they were showing as queries.  now, I can't select them and 3 of my forms won't work because they are looking for said queries.  Any suggestion as to what happened or why -? and how do I get them back to actual queries that the dataset will let me read and use?
