Wanted: Free Online XAML Complete Reference Manual RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anybody know where I might be able to find a free online XAML complete reference manual?

If not, a fairly complete guide?

    Many thanks.

  • There is nothing really complete available on the web so fare (not that I'm aware of ...). Only a couple of articles focusing on diffrents aspects of xaml/wpf.
Anyway, I would strongly suggest you to get the Windows Presentation Foundation Unleashed book from Adam Nathan.
This is the absolute reference for .NET 3.0/ XAML.

  • Thanks.

I found a copy of the MS Expression Blend Bible, which is pretty good, and I'm finding the help pages (F1) useful.

xnaught also sent me some useful links: http://forums.expression.microsoft.com/en-US/blend/thread/a0833e70-d5ef-4f1c-8cf4-e5e2ceb04dce just in case anybody else out there needs any help.

I've found less stuff on XAML, Csharp in relation to Blend, etc. If anybody finds any other very useful links, you can post them here.

    Thanks again.

  • Howdy,

In my opionion, the best XAML reference book is "Programming Windows Presentation Foundation".

I should also give me book a plug here "Expression Blend Unleashed" which you can also get from Amzon etc..

You could always check out some video tutorials on my site learnexpressionstudio.com
