Summing Sales without stuff I don't want. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a simple YTD Sales query and multiple product field codes. For sake of argument, AB, BC and CD.  Normally ok, but now for product group code BC, I don't want to include customer data for a select sect.

I have a customers table and I have another table linked at Cust# labelled Void.

There are customers that purchase from product group AB, BC and CD that can be found in VOID, but I just want to ignore any sales from BC.

I tried a calculated measure to parse it out, in my sales table, if(Related(product group code)="BC" && related(Void(Cust),"Void", "OK")  yes, I like to keep things simple).  the calculated measure would act a slicer when needed.

I'm getting related table problem, even though Sales has Cust#, which is related to Customers Table - as is the void table.

I know it should be a quick syntax but my brain is on vacation right now.  How can i code this to neglect any sales from BC with customers related to the Void table?
