Unable to delete Machine Learning Model Management - PREVIEW RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am unable to delete Machine Learning Model Management - PREVIEW. Rest of the items in Res Group deleted successfully.

    I get the error with two Res Groups related to ML. I didn't get to the point of adding my own models, manifests, images or services.

    I can see a model and manifest automatically created by Azure in Mngt Model. There is no way to delete these items.

  • Do you try to delete ML using PowerShell?

    az ml service list | az ml service Delete

  • Here are some more details -

    Resource Group: IoTEdgeRG

    Machine Learning Model Management - PREVIEW: IOTEdgeMLMMngt

    Error Message taken from Activity Log:

    "properties": {

        "statusCode": "PreconditionFailed",

        "serviceRequestId": null,

        "statusMessage": "{\"code\":\"PreconditionFailed\",\"statusCode\":412,\"message\":\"PreconditionFailed\",\"details\":[{\"code\":\"MmsPrimitiveFound\",\"message\":\"There are one or more models, manifests, images or services attached to account IOTEdgeMLMMngt. You may not delete this account until these have been deleted.\"}]}"

      }

    Resource Group: CVEdgeExpRG

    Machine Learning Model Management - PREVIEW: CVEdgeExpModelMgmt

    Error Message taken from Activity Log:

    "properties": {

        "statusCode": "PreconditionFailed",

        "serviceRequestId": null,

        "statusMessage": "{\"code\":\"PreconditionFailed\",\"statusCode\":412,\"message\":\"PreconditionFailed\",\"details\":[{\"code\":\"MmsPrimitiveFound\",\"message\":\"There are one or more models, manifests, images or services attached to account CVEdgeExpModelMgmt. You may not delete this account until these have been deleted.\"}]}"

      }

    Model Management Tab, in Azure Portal, shows following Models and Manifests -

    Model: demo-iris-model.pkl

    Manifest: demo-iris-manifest

     These are created by Azure automatically. There is no way to delete these items.

    I think these items, which are automatically created by Azure, are preventing the resource Machine Learning Model Management (IOTEdgeMLMMngt, CVEdgeExpModelMgmt) from being deleted (please see error message in JSON snippet above)
