Microsoft Entourage 2004 with Exchange Server 2010 RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    My company's changed Exchange server from 2003 to 2010.

    But, It's only work with Windows platform. It doesn't work on Macintosh.

    Could you show an example of configuration on Entourage 2004?

    Cause, I'd try too many ways and many times. It's still doesn't work.

    Information : Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac (updated V.11.6.0),Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

  • I can't imagine that you'll get Entourage 2004 to work with E2010 unless you configure it as an IMAP client.  Entourage has always used the WebDAV API to access Exchange data, but WebDAV was dropped when E2010 was released, and replaced by the EWS (Exchange Web Services) API.  There is a new version of Entourage available that uses EWS, but I think you have to have Office 2008 installed before you can upgrade to it.

    But, like I say, you can configure it as an IMAP client if you don't care about Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc.
