Button to Display Field Contents RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a table/form that collects Project summary information.  For each record there is Long Text field named "Scope" that maintains a summary (paragraph) detailing various parts of the project.  Typically I don't want this displayed on the form; however, I would like to place a button on the form that opens a dialog window that displays the Scope contents.

    How is this best handled?

    Thanks PU_RJF

  • If you look at the OpenForm method, refer to

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/Access.DoCmd.OpenForm

The are a number of input parameters, but I'm not using some (using their default value), so I leave them blank/empty and specify the one I was interested in, the WhereCondition
