    When entering MSDN downloads I get an asp.net error message:

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    The file '/home.aspx' has not been pre-compiled, and cannot be requested.

  • You must be new around here - the RTM of a new VS is ALWAYS used as a showcase of what's currently wrong with MSDN's online technology.

    At the moment, I get one of three things:

    1. The error above (now fixed, I think)
    2. Too busy
    3. Subscriber downloads without VS2008 on the product tree

    I'm pleased to say that this is a completely different set of problems to those with the VS2005 RTM, but the end-result is reassuringly consistent.
