How to generate the Schema xsd which is deployed in Admin console. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I had deployed my application on to Prod and can see my Schema A in Admin Console.

Now due to some reasons from my code and repository Schema A has got corrupted.

Is there way to get my Schema .xsd file back from admin console so that I can re-add to my source code and build the code.

    Please reply.

    Regards,

    Vikingss

  • Two ways to get your schemas back
    One is:
Double click the required Schema from admin console and select "Schema View"
Right click and "selectAll" and Copy into NotePad.
in Note pad Find and Replace "-".

    Second way is:
Copy the Schemas Assembly (.dll file) into your local box (hope it should be in C:\program Files\ your Application name..

Form your local box run "BizTalk WCF Service Publishing Wizard" and select publish Schema as wcf service  and select request and response schemas.
hope you can find schemas in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PublishedWCFService

If any one has better idea please welcome.
