  • Hi,

Please have a look at the Litware HR application architecture to know more about who to develop an SaaS enabled application and what the different maturity models in SaaS.

  • You may need to be much more specific for us to provide you will more specific assistance.

There is some good general information here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_as_a_Service

Depending on your needs an how you have it set up, a simple ASP.NET application can be SaaS. You could even do a WinForms application accessible through Citrix and have something that could be considered SaaS. You could do something with Silverlight.

SaaS is a more a deployment model than a technology for building applications.

    Hope this helps.

  • hi,

thanks for the reference, but i have read alot of those what-is articles, what im actually looking for is a how-to guide or something like that.
The database for my saas is complete, i used a shared database for all clients, but when it came to building the app, i stopped there and couldn't continue

    thanks

  • You may want to check out SaaSGrid: http://apprenda.com/platform/saasgrid-introduction/

It enables you to build a regular single tenant application, but deploy it as a fully commercialized multi-tenant SaaS offering.  It's a layer of abstraction that augments the capabilities of IIS and MSSQL to create a multi-tenant application delivery fabric, while also providing all of the SaaS business systems and operational tools (customer onboarding/tenant provisioing, application lifecycle management, billing and metering, etc).

Bhaskar - How've you been?  I believe we spoke mid last year.
