Getting 503 Service Unavailable errors / loading forever on my Azure Websites RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a few Azure Websites in US East - it seems like as of 2:15 EST, they are all down - if I try to navigate to them, it loads forever, and if I restart the site, I get a 503 error. Are there any Azure issues occurring?

  • Ours are down as well, but we're getting 502 errors.  Same symptoms.

  • I have VM's hosted in US East, I am able to access one, unable to access the other. I powered the troublesome VM down in order to reboot, but am unable to power back on. I receive the follow error when I try to start the VM.

Windows Azure is currently performing an operation with x-ms-requestid 814a19d930c586098fd92828b9f1c027 on this deployment that requires exclusive access.

  • Thanks for the confirmations guys - I just checked the status page and looks like MS is aware at least http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/

"An alert for Websites in East US is being investigated. A very small subset of customers may be impacted. More information will be provided as it is known."

  • Our VM is down and can't be restarted via UI or powershell.

Whatever is happening affects more than just websites, VMs are dead too.

  • http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/ now has information about this. Please check it for status on this issue.
