To use Host Integration Server 2013 with BizTalk 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to send a message from BizTalk 2010 through MQSC adapter to and IBM Web Sphere MQ V7.5 client and to WebSphere MQ 7.5.

As I understand, MQSC adapter in Host Integration Server 2010 is suitable to communicate with MQ V7.1 client and not MQv7.5 client.

Is it possible to install and use Host Integration Server 2013 with BizTalk 2010?

    Regards

    /Babak

  • I think that using HIS2013 with BizTalk 2010 is not supported.

We were faced with a similar problem. We wanted to use the DB2 adapter against a DB2 v10 database. This is not supported in HIS2010 but is supported in HIS2013. We were told that HIS2013 on BizTalk 2010 is not supported.

  • If your requirement only communicate IBM Web Sphere MQ V7.5 client  through MQSC then host integration server

    not required.

  • Hi Kapil,

Would you explain what you mean and how is it possible to communicate with IBM Web Sphere MQ V7.5 client and to WebSphere MQ 7.5 without HIS? Isn’t MQSC adapter a part of Host integration server?
