SSRS 2008 R2 - Report does not render correctly in Web View RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have an issue in SSRS 2008 R2 whereby a report looks correct within report preview mode (report builder 3) but upon saving and rendering through the main report server page all the charts and gauges become clipped.  It is if some of the chart components are too large for it's overall container.

To make matters even more strange if you attempt to export to Excel or PDF the rendering works fine, with no clipping at all.  I believe there are people with similar issues but so far there has been no answer to the problem.  Another example is here:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/fa3bbc4a-1bb4-49cb-a363-4f9b09dbd079

The SQL and report server are installed on Windows 7, 64 bit.

I'd very much appreciate some help with this as I have demonstrations planned and currently I am not in a position whereby I could demo successfully!

    Many thanks, Jon Edwards.

  • Hi Jon,

In your case, which browser you are using to view the report on the Report Manager? Currently, it is hard to reproduce this issue on my test environment. Please post both the report and the dataset with sample data to us by the following E-mail address. Then, I will try to reproduce the scenario and assist you to resolve the problem.

E-mail: sqltnsp AT microsoft.com (Please replace the AT with @, and remove additional spaces).
