Hide Entity Properties I don't want Client to see RRS feed

  • I actually used the "Split Table" process in EF and moved the fields I don't want exposed into a seperate "confidential" entity

  • WCF Data Service currently does not allow you to "hide" properties on an entity type. You've mentioned that you are using EF, so the best practice here is to define a new entity type (using DefiningQuery) and expose that instead.

    Hide the original Person entity type using EntitySetAccessRights.
