Connection failed Forbidden Error

    Question

  • We are getting below error whenever we clicked on "Test Connection" button in creating / editing a Linked Service (For all services like Storage / SQL and etc)

    Connection failed
    Forbidden. Activity ID:b1ee43c3-8c74-417b-8741-6f16c8c5e51f

    Could you please help us in resolving this

  • Even a simple web activity also getting failed with Forbidden error.

  • Hi Prasad,

    If your issue occurred around the time of your posting, it would fall withing the published event time range posted on Azure status, check today's date in Azure status history:

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/history/

    If you are still seeing issues, note the guidance in the summary:

    "Customers still seeing issues with their self-hosted Integration Runtime (IR) needed to manually restart this service instances to mitigate these issues. These customers were communicated to separately on the Azure Portal."

    If you are not using a self-hosted IR, your services should have resumed normal functionality by now.
