999 acknowledgements in BT 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • For the first time I am being required to generate Acks out of Biztalk. I am capturing the 999 for submitted claims, but I'm not seeing the info in the 999 that I am expecting. I am purposefully dropping a file with 9 good claims and one bad one in it. The error for the bad claim is:
Details: Error: 1 (Field level error)
    SegmentID: NM1
    Position in TS: 29
    Data Element ID: NM103_OtherInsuredLastName
    Position in Segment: 3
    Data Value:
1: Mandatory data element missing ".

However, there is no indication of the error in the 999. It shows that all ten claims were accepted. Any idea what the issue could be?

    Thanks.

  • Sharplj,

That is actually one of the articles I read when setting up my 999 processing. The 999 is getting generated just fine. It just isn't reporting correctly. It is reporting all claims as being "OK", when in fact it should be showing an error for one of them.
    Thanks.

can you paste your 999 for failed file here..

It has several status fileds, one of which is "Accepted but with Errors"
