Installation of AZURE Multi Factor Authentication on my personal laptop

    Question

  • I am required to install AZURE Multi Factor Authentication on my personal laptop  to enable me tom access confidential information, documernts and e-mails on the Consultancy Company's Server.

I have installed MS Authenticator on my Phone.

I am not able to acess the MFA Setup Page:

I get the ACCESS DENIED Error Message

The user ID that you entered is not recognized. If this is a new account, it may take a few hours before you have access to services. Important: This page does not yet support signing in with a Microsoft account. If you have one already, try signing in again using an account assigned to you by your organization. If you don’t have one, please request a new work or school account from your admin, and then try again.

  • Contact your company IT and have them investigate. The error indicates that your account does not exist in Azure AD, it may be that it is not being synced properly from your on prem domain, but your IT team need to look at this.
