Gotta be a lot clearer here.  Server side or client side?  Your site or another site?  Have you checked your Internet Explorer securtiy settings?

i am running the browser (IE) that is on the server......I am physically on the server's monitor.

For instance, I can't login into this web site (asp.net) or www.dotnetnuke.com because it runs java script....it won't allow me to run java script..

i assumed it was the browser and looked in the browser settings, but couldn't find anything related to java script...??

huh ? if it's browser - then try post this to IE browser newsgroup. this is IIS - the web server.
Also posting the exact error msgs will help speed up the troubleshooting process.

It's not IIS and no change in IIS settings will help you.  You want to post this in an Internet Explorer support group.

There is no server extension for languages, nor is there a server extension for client side script. Specifically what problem are you having?

Could someone help me about javascript. I installed IIS 6.0, OS- 2003. And website with javascripts and forms. As I understand javascript on server don't have some permissions, maybe to temp directories, because it is not running on client pc and don't show pictures and forms just text. Then I try on the same IE to run other the same site (we migrating from old server to new one) just which is another server it is ok.

Is the javascript inline with the HTML or is it loaded from a src file?

I think it is src, it is 3th part software, there are a lot of *.aspx files.

In my opinion there is no some permision in some folder, but I can't find out there.

Most likely because you have not enabled the mime-type for the javascript .js files ...

If you are only seeing the test from the html file that calls the java script the problem is you  have an error your html file. Make sure you have all the entries to call java.

Your might need something like this

    <script language="javascript">AC_FL_RunContent = 0;</script>

    <script src="AC_RunActiveContent.js" language="javascript"></script>

The src calls the script you want to run and it has to be in the same folder as the html file that calls it.

Is it a scripting issue due to not having the proper syntax or is it because you need to check the box on the Home Directory tab (or change the type execution)?
