Entity Framework - Bad performance with SNINativeMethodWrapper:SNIReadSyncOverAsync

We are facing Performance Issues for our application where the App Dynamics shows that the Max time for the operation is taken by a call of

 

SNINativeMethodWrapper:SNIReadSyncOverAsync. We would like to understand the root cause for the same.

 

Could you please confirm why SNINativeMethodWrapper:SNIReadSyncOverAsync call is taking more than 90% of the time of the whole operation. Are we not using Entity Framework efficiently?
