Unable to Access the SAS URL which is generated from Microsoft AZURE for the purpose of TFSMigrator tool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Unable to Access the SAS URL which is generated from Microsoft AZURE for the purpose of TFSMigrator tool

    We are in the process of migrating our TFS on premises to VSTS by using TFS Migrator tool.

    We are successful by exporting our TFS on premises source by creating dacpac file and also created Resource group and Storage account (Container) in Microsoft Azure and uploaded the dacpac file in the same.

    In order to import the source of TFS on premises (Which is in dacpac file) to VSTS, TFS Migrator tool needs import.json file which contains certain prerequisite to be updated for the successful import.

    One of the prerequisite is updating the SAS URL which is generated by Microsoft Azure of the respective container.

    We are not able to access the SAS URL and have ended up with the below error.

    <Error>
    <Code>InvalidQueryParameterValue</Code>
    <Message>
    Value for one of the query parameters specified in the request URI is invalid. RequestId:40227726-001e-0075-7272-5c6923000000 Time:2017-11-13T11:27:03.1552202Z
    </Message>
    <QueryParameterName>comp</QueryParameterName>
    <QueryParameterValue/>
    <Reason/>
    </Error>

    Kindly advice us how to proceed further with this and let us know the inputs to be carried out.

    Thanks in Advance for your support and earlier support will be much appreciated.

    Regards,
