Getting 2 pages when expecting 1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've written my first report using the report control in VS 2010.  It has a header and a footer.  When I preview the report, using the report viewer control in VS 2010, it is 1 page.  However, whenever I print the report it is always 2 pages.

Why is that?  I don't want 2 pages when all I have is 1.

  • Is the 2nd page just a blank page? It's possible that your report body is larger than the page size defined in your report properties. Take a look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb677374.aspx. Most aspects of Reporting Services report design apply to RDLC reports.
