Creating a report to show dependencies - PS2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Wanted to check about reports to show dependency.

      I create dependencies(Task > Deliverable > Dependency). Project 1 has dependency on 4 different tasks from Project2 and Project3.

I want to know is there any built in report to show the dependencies for Project 1 or how do we go about if we want to create a report for project 1 to show dependency lists. IT should tell me what is the task, from which project and the date.

    Thanks

  • Yes SSRS is a solution. You can also use Excel Services either with the reporting tables or the OLAP cubes to retrieve deliverables data from the above tables. You'll also find a deliverable sample report in the BI Center.

  • Hi,

You should find all relevant information about deliverables in the following tables of the reporting DB:

    • MSP_WssDeliverable_OlapView
    • MSP_WssDeliverableToProjectLinks_UserView
    • MSP_WssDeliverableToTaskLinks_UserView

    Hope this helps,
