  • Hi rish211,

How did you customized the master page? Did you use static image as the site logo?

If so, I would suggest you using SiteLogoImage instead. While using SiteLogoImage, we can change the icon as Andre mentioned. Please replace the static image(site logo) with the following code:

    <SharePoint:SPLinkButton runat="server" NavigateUrl="~site/" id="onetidProjectPropertyTitleGraphic"><SharePoint:SiteLogoImage name="onetidHeadbnnr0" id="onetidHeadbnnr2" LogoImageUrl="/_layouts/images/siteIcon.png" runat="server"/></SharePoint:SPLinkButton>

If there is anything unclear, please feel free to ask.

    Thanks,

  • If you go to Site Actions>Site Setting >Look and Feel "Title, description and icon" you can define the logo for the Web.
