  • How can I run/operate/debug Python Azure Funtions in Visual Studio 2019?

  • At present, we haven’t thought about the Python in Azure Functions + VS 2019 story. We currently are working on the ‘publish web app to linux on Azure’ story within Visual Studio 2019, but seeing as Azure Functions for python is just GA-ing for VS Code on 8/19 (this coming Monday), I’d say it’s a distant way off.

    Currently Linux-based hosting is the only supported option for Python in Azure Functions.
