    It's not possible to provide accurate assistance without the source code.  

    CSS syntax is formatted like below if the CSS declarations are in a file or the head section of an HTML document.

    selector {
       name: value;
    }

    Like this if the CSS is inline.

     <div style="color:red;"></div>

    According to the error message, we use css as:

    (property):(value)

    It seems you are missing property in the css code. Just like mgebhard said, you can post your code here, then we can find the accurate cause.
