Runtime code coverage of .net dlls using visual studio tools RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I instrumented .net dlls using following command

    vsinstr /coverage CodeCoverageSample.exe

    after this I ran following to capture runtime coverage.

    vsperfcmd /start:coverage /output:demoapplication.coverage

    Now when I run the exe it throws exception that vsperf is not running

    According to your description, please try to download the performance tool for visual studio 2019 , then re-run the related command.

    # Open cmd.exe, open the path which the tool locates

    The path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Enterprise\Team Tools\Performance Tools

    # run the related command
