    Hi,

    no. Touch screen is nothing more than an alternative input device just like the button click of a mouse. The by ASP.NET rendered html in a browser will just run the same as it doesn't care about the input device you use.

    However if you decide to make mobile phone applications then you may need to use different controls. Take a look under the Mobile and Handheld Devices forum.

    You do not want to do  any extra efforts for this. If it is a touch screen enabled system, the events of controls can be triggered by touching the screen.

    I think one needs to make sure their design works well in touchscreen apps.  Having too many controls, or controls which are too small to click accurately can be a problem.
