Sending emails from multiple defined email addresses RRS feed

  • Question

  • Currently we are using exchange 2013. Let's say a user has a mailbox account defined that has a default email reply address of dd@ddd.com. Now I define additional email address for the same account. When the user tries to send an email he can only send from the default email address. Is it possible to send from a defined email anndress and not the default account email address?

  • Hello Rainetek,

this sounds more like a general client usage problem, than a exchange development issue you may want to either check at the Exchange Client forums or the Outlook IT Pros forums.

That said, the only method that I can think of off the head is to create a second mailbox with the second mailaddress and assign both to the user.

    Cheers,
    Fred
