Make IE default browser (desktop UI) RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I click some links in desktop UI, they open in IE - Metro UI. How to make all links opening in desktop UI?

Settings in Control Panel >Default programs are not the case, as all file types and protocols (except FTP) are already associated with IE.

An example of a link that opens in Metro UI:

In Word 2010 > Insert > Illustrations > Clip art > Clip art task pane > link: Find more in Office.com

  • You've right!

However, before my post I've searched the forum for "default browser" and that topic wasn't in the list. So I decided to ask...

    My apologies!
