  • Hi!

    Try these steps :

    - Close all instances of Visual Studio 2017
    - Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE" (depend of VS installation directory)
    - Run command: devenv.exe /resetuserdata -> wait until will be finished
    - Run Visual Studio

If it doesn't work, try to repair your visual studio.

    Hope it wil be useful.

  • Hi JVM_Tech,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Like Nordine MHOUMADI said, please navigate to the VS 2017 installer folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\xxx\Common7\IDE and run the command: devenv /resetuserdata to clean up the user data of VS 2017. After that, start VS 2017 to create a new project, some other community members solved this issue like this, please have a look at this similar issue.

If this issue persists, please re-run the VS 2017 installer as administrator, click the icon beside ‘Modify’, ‘Launch’, select ‘Repair’ to repair it.
