EW 2 -Can't edit links in uneditable region in a template RRS feed

  • Question

  • The EW-2 site I am building has two identical sections of hyperlinks one at top right  and one at bottom border.

    (About Us; Contact etc.).

The top right works fine but the links at the bottom border are in an uneditable region.

How can I edit  to make  the links active?

  • What do you mean by "active"?

You edit the links in the DWT attached to the page, then allow all pages attached to the DWT to be updated.

  • Like Ronx says, you have to edit non-editable regions in the DWT file, which is where changes are made for common content like navigation/menus.

You can't edit anything in a non-editable region, which is the point of DWT's - to protect some areas of a web page from alteration (common content to every page in a site, such as navigation, headers, footers, side-bars etc).
